I'm glad I could teach Gaara-sama how to swim. I know he doesn't like going near the water, but as Ino-san said, we never know when we might have to fight an enemy from the Water Country. Even if that doesn't happen, I hope what he learned will come in handy someday. I still need to practice some more myself, though. I'm not very good at swimming yet.

I wonder who is the Sand shinobi that came yesterday... and why did Gaara-sama get so aggravated? He just said the man is a medical ninja from our village, so shouldn't we go meet him? For some strange reason, Gaara-sama doesn't want me to talk to... um, I think the man's name is Yashamaru. Oh, Kankuro-san seemed kind of surprised to see him too. Mmm... that name sounds a little familiar, but I can't remember where I've heard it before. I guess Yashamaru could be a shinobi that doesn't get along with Gaara-sama and Kankuro-san. I might ask Gaara-sama about it later, when he's in a better mood...

I've been in Paradisa for a whole month already... It doesn't feel that long, though. I... I don't know if I'm happier here or back in Suna. I'm not as homesick as I thought I'd be... The only thing I really regret is that I can't visit my parents' graves. I've never gone this long without going to see them. Mother, Father, please forgive me...

Mmm, even though Paradisa is a pretty nice place, some of the magic effects still make me nervous... and there's also the losses too. I might get one any day now, and I have no idea what will happen to me.

Well, I'll be leaving pretty soon explore the forest with Renji-san and his friends. I feel a little tired because I couldn't sleep last night, but if I don't do anything, I'll just start thinking too much and get all worried again.
